{"id":282,"date":"2022-01-11T11:12:38","date_gmt":"2022-01-11T10:12:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joannadziudzia.pl\/resource-therapy\/"},"modified":"2022-01-11T11:12:41","modified_gmt":"2022-01-11T10:12:41","slug":"resource-therapy","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joannadziudzia.pl\/en\/resource-therapy\/","title":{"rendered":"Resource Therapy"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Resource Therapy is a short-term psychodynamic psychotherapy based on the idea that personality consists of many parts.<br\/>Some of these are formed in childhood as an emotional record of our reactions, or as a coping mechanism for particular situations. <\/p>\n\n<p>Over time, however, these ways may become inadequate to current reality. We may feel that some part dominates our life more than others, e.g.: the anxious part, the sad part, the part that fears rejection. Other parts of our personality are more difficult to access e.g.: the happy part, the courageous part, the loving part.<br\/>Usually the part that brings the client to therapy and presents the problem is rarely the part that needs changing. Therefore, in therapy, I try to recognise and skilfully involve in the therapeutic process the part of the personality that needs changing. <\/p>\n\n<p>I often tell clients that every part of the personality is important, necessary and a valuable inner resource.
