TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Guidelines for the use of psychotherapy

Please read the rules and guidelines contained in these terms and conditions before making an appointment. By submitting an online appointment request, you agree to all the terms and conditions described in this document. In the case of stationary sessions, you will also have the opportunity to read the regulations during the first consultation.

Psychotherapy is available to people who have full legal capacity. In the case of people who do not have full legal capacity, the presence or written consent of a legal guardian is required. Minors are admitted after consulting the psychotherapist with their parents. Psychological help for minors takes place after obtaining a written consent of a parent/legal guardian.

When starting psychotherapy, the psychotherapist and the patient are bound by a verbal therapy contract, the rules of which may slightly modify these regulations.

The beginning of psychotherapy is preceded by consultations (usually 1 to 3 meetings), which are to lead to the formulation of the problem, aim and principles of work.

Meetings are usually held once a week, unless the therapist agrees with the patient that a different frequency is needed.

A session lasts 50 minutes. If the patient is late for a session, the time of the session is not extended.

The services are charged according to the price list presented on www.joannadziudzia.pl

In case of online sessions, the Patient is obliged to pay for the consultation before the scheduled appointment. This form of payment via Przelewy24 may also be used by people who make stationary appointments. In the case of stationary appointments, payment may be made in cash at the office.

You may cancel your appointment at no cost to you no later than 24 hours before the appointment time. The patient bears the cost of the session he/she did not attend if he/she does not cancel it at the appointed time. To cancel an appointment, please contact your therapist. The fee for a timely cancelled appointment will be refunded within 7 days from the date of the scheduled appointment or, as agreed with the patient, will be credited towards the next session.

The psychotherapist can refuse to provide services to people who make unrealistic demands or who are harmful to themselves and/or their environment. This also applies to situations when the psychotherapist decides that he cannot reliably provide services for the patient (the reasons can be personal or professional). The psychotherapist can refuse to provide services to a person who endangers his or her personal welfare, is under the influence of alcohol or drugs or is aggressive.

The psychotherapist is obliged to keep all information from the therapy confidential, as well as the fact of the patient’s use of the therapy in front of third parties. An exception to this is when there is a threat to the life or health of the patient or third parties, or in situations defined by law. When cooperating with other specialists treating the patient, e.g. a psychiatrist, he only provides the necessary information with the patient’s knowledge.

In accordance with the ethics of his profession and for the sake of the high quality of his services, the psychotherapist also undergoes regular supervision.
